The committee’s statement emphasizes the need for firm stances against countries normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation. The Aqaba-Basra oil pipeline project, connecting Southern Iraq to Jordan through Saudi Arabia, is now under scrutiny for potentially facilitating normalization with ‘Israel’, according to the committee.
The Iraqi Resistance continues to escalate its operations against Israeli assets across occupied territories and has also teamed up with the Yemeni Armed Forces to target Israeli naval infrastructure in the Mediterranean.
