Yemeni Armed Forces staged a new missile strike targeting the Zionist entity in support of the oppressed people in Palestine’s Gaza, the revolutionary forces announced on Tuesday.
In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces’ Spokesman Brigadier Yahya Saree said the strike employed Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile that was aimed at the Israeli airport in Al-Lod airport, referring to the Palestinian name of the area where Israeli Ben Gurion Airport lies.
“The operation successfully achieved its objective, causing millions of Zionists to flee to shelters and leading to the shutdown of airport operations,” the military spokesman stated.
Brig. Gen. Saree vowed to keep up such solidarity operations in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip who have been subjected to genocidal Israeli war and now suffering starvation due to Israeli blockade.
“The Yemeni people are with you, we will do everything in our power to fulfill our duty toward you,” the spokesman addressed the Palestinian people as saying.
He defined the ultimate aim of such strikes as forcing the regime to stop the warfare and end the Israeli blockade.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli media reported a missile was launched from Yemen towards the Zionist entity, adding that air raid sirens were activated across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area and occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), forcing millions of Israelis into shelters.

The occupation military claimed to have intercepted the Yemeni missile.
The Yemeni revolutionaries have intensified missile and drone strikes on Israel since Israeli forces resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip in March after two months of a shaky ceasefire.
Since November 2023, the group has also targeted commercial shipping in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea in support of Palestinians in Gaza, where more than 60,000 people have been martyred in a brutal Israeli onslaught.
