The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief Major General Rodolph Haykal inspected the site of the explosion inside the arms and ammunition depot in Wadi Zebqin, Tyre.
A number of Lebanese soldiers were martyred an injured last Saturday in an explosion of Israeli war leftover munitions in the southern Lebanese town of Majdalzoun.

General Haykal directly examined the aftermath of the explosion and its the circumstances before moving to the Fifth Infantry Brigade Command in Bayada, where he offered his condolences for the fallen soldiers from the brigade.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized, “The army has no choice but to continue performing its duty in light of the repeated attacks by the Israeli enemy because protecting the homeland is a sacred mission for which sacrifices are not trivial.”
General Heikal then offered his condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers in the towns of Debaal in Tyre, Bisariyeh in Sidon, and Amrousiyeh in Choueifat, appreciating their sacrifices and dedication to duty and affirming that the Army Command will remain loyal to them and to their families.
