In the latest development in the ongoing aggression on Gaza, Palestinian Resistance forces have confronted Israeli occupation forces in Rafah for the 35th consecutive day. This comes as part of a wider war that has been raging for 237 days and counting in the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, multiple Palestinian Resistance factions announced operations against Israeli occupation forces in various sectors of the besieged territory. Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas led the defensive actions, firing mortar rounds at occupation forces in Tell al-Sultan and targeting an Israeli soldier with a sniper.
A joint operation with the al-Quds Brigades of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resulted in rocket artillery rounds being fired at the Sufa military base east of Rafah. Warning sirens were triggered in Israeli settlements as a result.

Al-Qassam Brigades also targeted an Israeli Apache attack helicopter over Rafah with a surface-to-air missile. Mortar units from various factions launched barrages at advancing Israeli occupation forces in different areas of Rafah.

In addition to the attacks in Rafah, Palestinian factions also launched attacks on occupation forces in Netzarim. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades sniped an Israeli occupation soldier and launched mortar shells and rockets at forces in the area. Al-Mujahideen Brigades also participated in the attacks, launching rockets at forces in the strategic axis.
However, amid these attacks, Israeli strikes on Gaza City have resulted in multiple casualties. A strike in al-Daraj neighborhood killed six members of the same family, including a pregnant woman. Another strike in al-Shujaiya neighborhood injured several Palestinians.
Despite the continued aggression and destruction in Gaza, the Palestinian people and their Resistance forces remain steadfast in their resistance against the occupying forces. The conflict shows no signs of easing, as both sides continue to engage in deadly confrontations.
