Israeli raids targeting al-Jaouni school in the al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza has resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians and numerous injuries. The school had been serving as a shelter for refugees in the area.

The raid was part of a series of airstrikes and shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation across central, north, and south Gaza on Thursday night through early Friday. Other targets included a Palestinian home in the al-Shati refugee camp, refugee tents in western Rafah, and the al-Awda roundabout in central Rafah.

As a result of the Israeli blockade, the United Nations has now run out of tents and food supplies in southern Gaza. The closing of crossings has prevented aid from entering the region, exacerbating an already dire situation where Palestinians are facing famine, hospitals are shutting down due to fuel shortages, and tens of thousands of wounded are at risk of dying.
