Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah received a delegation representing Hamas Palestinian resistance movement, with latest developments related to the Gaza war and the supporting fronts topping the agenda of the meeting, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office announced on Wednesday.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office said that Hamas delegation was headed by the group’s Deputy Chief in Gaza Khalil Al-Hayya, noting that top Hamas representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan and another official Mohammad Nasr attended the meeting.
“The meeting involved a comprehensive and in-depth assessment of the events and developments in the Gaza Strip, particularly, and in occupied Palestine in general, as well as other supporting fronts,” the statement read.
Sayyed Nasrallah also discussed with senior Hamas officials recent negotiations, international political positions, and student movements worldwide, according to the statement.
The meeting underlined “the unity of stance and the persistence of efforts on battlefield, political, and popular levels in a bid to achieve the noble goals pursued by Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and to secure the promised victory, regardless of the sacrifices made,” according to the statement.
Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah, along with senior Hamas officials, “praised the level of cooperation and solidarity among the various fronts and the Axis of Resistance’s movements as well as sacrifices offered in this regard.”
