Hamas top representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan told Al-Manar on Wednesday that the Palestinian resistance is still fighting in the first points of engagement, and that the Israeli enemy is still being surprised by the capabilities of the resistance in Gaza.
“The resistance is still fighting in the first points of engagement,” which were set at the start of the war in October, “and is inflicting losses upon the Israeli enemy,” he told Al-Manar on Wednesday.
“The resistance capabilities are still high and the resistance is fine, while the elite Israeli brigades have collapsed in Gaza Strip.”

Hamdan stressed, meanwhile, that contact with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and top commander Mohammad Deif is continuous.
“The contact between the resistance leadership in Gaza and the politburo has its own ways and tools and that the politburo has been closely monitoring the developments on the battlefield,” the official told Manar Sabbagh.
On the other hand, Hamdan pointed to the military and political coordination between the movements of the Axis of Resistance, stressing that the resistance is fine.
He noted that there is a strategic question that faces the Israeli enemy which is: “How long can this battle last?”
“One of the prominent results of this battle is that the Axis of Resistance increases in ability and strength.”
In this context, Hamdan said that the Iranian retaliation against the Zionist entity last month set a new equation.
He threatened that the talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Gaza will be halted if the Israeli enemy goes ahead with Rafah incursion.
“The resistance doesn’t negotiate under fire,” Hamdan said, noting that the Zionist entity been blackmailing the resistance with Rafah invasion.
