In recalling of 2024 war log, Hezbollah’s Military Media released on Thursday details of the twenty-fourth day of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, in which the Israeli Resistance fighters recorded epic heroism in face of Israeli brutality.
The details are part of Uli Al-Ba’s” (Formidable in Might) series, an episodic documentary prepared by Hezbollah’s Military Media chronicling the daily course of the battle.
Far from being a mere record of events, the series presents a historical document of steadfastness and sacrifice, telling the story of men who, with their blood, carved eternal chapters of glory in the history of the resistance.
It was Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. The Islamic Resistance fighter carried out in that day seventeen operations most of which targeted settlements, sites, barracks, and gatherings of Israeli enemy forces on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, with rockets and artillery shells.
On the ground front, this day witnessed heroic confrontation between the Islamic Resistance fighters and the Israeli enemy forces in the vicinity of Al-Qawzah town, where violent clashes took place at point-blank range with various types of machine guns.
The confrontations resulted in a number of casualties among Israeli occupation forces, including deaths. The resistance fighters also targeted Israeli enemy forces with rocket barrages and artillery shells, achieving direct hits on them in the vicinity of the towns of Markaba, Ramya, Adaisseh, and Ayta Al-Shaab.
Drones Repelled, Soldiers Killed
Meanwhile on that day, Hezbollah resistance fighters rained missiles and rockets on a number of Israeli military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, most notably the occupied city of Safed and the Karmiel.
The resistance’s air defense unit fired surface-to-air missiles at two Israeli reconnaissance aircraft, forcing them to retreat and leave the Lebanese airspace.
For its part, Israeli media reported that a number of rockets fell in the occupied city of Safed after some fifty rockets were fired from Lebanon, noting that direct hit was reported on a building in Safed.
According to Hebrew media, five soldiers from the Golani Brigade were killed in clashes on the northern border with Lebanon, and fourteen Israeli soldiers were injured within twenty-four hours.
