Hamas military media released on Monday a video which confirms the death of a number of Israeli captives.
Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Palestinian resistance movement, had posted on Sunday a video featuring some Israelis who have been held by the group in Gaza Strip since October 7.
The Israeli captives appeared in the video sending messages to the occupation government, demanding an end to the war and their return to their families.
The video ended with the Qassam Brigades stating in Arabic, Hebrew and English: “Wait for us… we will inform you of their fate tomorrow. Your government is lying.”
Meanwhile on Sunday, Al-Qassam Spokesman Abu Ubaida said the fate of many Israeli hostages has become unknown due to the random and relentless Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
In his first televised appearance for several weeks, marking the 100th day since the outbreak of the Israeli war, Abu Ubaida said many of the Israeli captives “may have been killed”, blaming their fate on the Zionist occupation.
He added “any talks before stopping the Israeli aggression are worthless.”
