Some ten days on the onset of the Israeli ground invasion of Gaza, Palestinian resistance is still resolute, inflicting heavy losses upon the Zionist occupiers who didn’t secure any achievement, except for killing more than 10,000 people, the vast majority of them are women and children.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance movement, announced on Thursday the destruction of several Israeli vehicles in a number of fronts across Gaza city where the Israeli occupation forces have been attempting to advance.
Till noon on Thursday, Al-Qassam Brigades announced the destruction of 2 tanks, 3 armored vehicles and a bulldozer in Al-Tawam, Sheikh Radwan Neighborhood and near Al-Shati refugee camp.
The resistance group also said that its fighters managed to ambush and Israeli infantry force in Gaza city’s Juhr Al-Deek area, noting that they fired an anti-personnel projectile at the Israeli enemy force from a point-blank range.
Al-Quds Brigades, meanwhile announced it had fired a salvo of rockets on Ashdod. Israeli media confirmed that sirens sounded in the occupied port city.
Blackout on Israeli Losses
Meanwhile, several media outlets casted doubt on the real number of losses among the Israeli military on both personnel and military equipment levels.
Israeli occupation army acknowledged on Wednesday that the number of soldiers killed since the start of the ground invasion in Gaza reached 32.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, Abu Ubeida, the military spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigades put the number of destroyed Israeli vehicles, tanks and bulldozers at 136 since the ground invasion started.
In this context, commentators cast doubt on the Israeli death toll announced by the occupation military, especially that the Israeli army has been throughout the struggle with resistance groups known for hiding the real losses inflicted upon its soldiers.
In a simple count, the number of 32 killed soldiers doesn’t match with the 136 destroyed vehicles, which had been undoubtedly carrying soldiers on board.
The occupation army usually avoid clearing the names of the slain soldiers, citing delay in notifying their families. However, it seems that the Israeli military’s policy is to clear both the names and the real number of killed soldiers.
Ongoing Aggression
On the other hand, Israeli occupation is still committing massacres against the Gazans, amid catastrophic humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
