Scrutinizing the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to China provides the undebatable estimation that the US escalation against China and the entire “Eastern Axis” has been doomed to failure.
The United States does not seek a new cold war and does not want to change the Chinese system, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Monday.
During a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the US official said that the US is committed to returning to the agenda set by the leaders of the two countries at the 2022 G20 summit in Bali.
The new US rhetoric completely opposes that used by the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2022. Pelsoi challenged China and visited Taiwan, escalating the tensions between Washington and Beijing.
China’s largest-ever military exercises encircled Taiwan after Pelosi visit to the island.
Ukraine Battle
The shrewdness of the US policy makers has become at stake since Washington pushed the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in 2022. Estimations at the White House thought that the Russian Bear would kneel down in Kiev; however, the outcomes of the battle frustrated the US dreams.
According to the latest reports, the Russian forces delivered multiple strikes by seaborne precision weapons targeting the Ukrainian army’s foreign equipment storage sites over the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine.
This is just a miniature sample about the failure of the US-backed Ukrainian army in face of the Russian forces.
Back to politics, before Blinken’s visit to China, the US Congress sent to him a message that urges him to include Taiwan stopover in his itinerary.
However, the US top diplomat disregarded the Congress advice and stated, during his meeting with the Chinese President that China does not endorse Taiwan’s independence.

According to media reports, the meeting between the Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and his US counterpart resulted in three main issues: maintaining high-level contacts, promoting the China-US joint work team to address a number of issues, and reinforcing personnel exchanges between the two countries, along with educational exchanges.
Blinken’s visit to China is not that fruitful due to the long rift between the two giants. On the other hand, his meetings in Beijing were not negative and reflected the US strategic back off in the conflict.
In light of the military failure in Ukraine, the United States found itself obliged to accept the Saudi-Iranian agreement signed in Beijing and boost relations with China.
According to media reports verified by the publicly-reflected Israeli concerns, the United States is planning to conclude a certain nuclear agreement with Iran.
In contrast with the US will, the pro-US Arab regimes decided to restore the diplomatic relations with Syria, which moved the United States to the background of the Middle East developments.
It is the Ukrainian battle that has altered the international and regional scene, and Blinken’s China visit confirms this change.
