As Israeli occupation goes ahead with its oppression across the occupied West Bank, Palestinian people persist with their acts of resistance.
Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Tuesday raided the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, prompting clashes with Palestinian residents.
The IOF arrested a Palestinian citizen after it raided his house, Palestinian sources reported, adding that occupation forces searched the house and tampered with its contents.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF stormed several homes and arrested Omar Hamza Assaf along with Asaad Abu Ein, but failed to arrest his brother Muhammad. Field investigations were also held at the scene of the raids in Qabatiya.
The IOF fired gas bombs at homes during confrontations in the town, as it called for major military reinforcements to be deployed to the area.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, the Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades called on the resistance fighters to ramp up attacks against IOF and to take high levels of precautions.
In a statement, Jenin Battalion ordered its fighters to intensify ambushes against IOF and to to refrain from targeting armored vehicles in a bid to avoid wasting ammunitions.
On the other hand, 2-year-old slain Mohammad Tamimi was laid to rest on Tuesday in his hometown of Nabi Saleh, near Ramallah.
Israeli occupation forces shot the toddler in the head last week as he was with his father in their parked car outside their town. His father was also shot and injured by Israeli fire.
