The Lebanese southern border town of Wadi Khansa had a tough night as Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched flare bombs on a residential area of the town.
Al-Manar correspondent reported that IOF fired early on Wednesday a number of 155-mm illumination rounds on the town which lies 2 kms away from the border with occupied Palestine.
“Four of the rounds fell in agricultural land and other two directly hit a nearby house and caused material damage,” according to our correspondent, Ali Shoeib.
“This is a clear and flagrant aggression on the Lebanese territory,” Al-Manar’s Shoeib said, stressing that the Israeli shelling was not preceded by any “security event.”
“The Israeli occupation suddenly and out of nowhere staged the attack. Thanks God there were no casualties,” our correspondent added.
