The Palestinian man was martyred late Wednesday near Beit El checkpoint in Bireh town, Palestinian media reported.

Israeli media also confirmed occupation forces killed a Palestinian, claiming that he attacked an Israeli soldier with a hammer.

Occupation forces then reinforced military presence at the checkpoint, hindering the Palestinian traffic.

Meanwhile, a large number of Israeli occupation soldiers and nearly 50 vehicles stormed the eastern region in Nablus north of the West Bank, Palestinian sources reported, as quoted by Palestine Today.

Israeli snipers were deployed to the buildings roofs near Joseph Tomb, the sources added.

Israeli media, meanwhile, reported that at least 11 Palestinians were arrested during overnight raids across the occupied West Bank.
