Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi highlighted the Israeli regime’s failure to impede Iran’s progress in the nuclear industry, saying Israel will not basically stand a chance of putting its decisions against Iran into practice.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference on Monday, Raisi dismissed the Israeli threats against the Islamic Republic.
Asked by Tasnim about comments from the Israeli officials that the regime would reserve the right to act against Iran’s nuclear capabilities in case of revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, the president advised the Zionists to notice the difference between decisions and actions.
If the Israeli regime decides to take action against Iran, it won’t even take the time to put it into practice, the president added, warning that nothing will be left from Israel before taking action against the Islamic Republic.
Dismissing the Israeli threats, Raisi said the Zionist regime cannot even defend itself against the Palestinian resistance groups, which are equipped with precision strike missiles.
“The nuclear activities, the nuclear industry and having nuclear capabilities are the Islamic Republic of Iran’s rights, and nobody or no official can deny Iran this right,” Raisi underlined.
Reiterating that nuclear weapons have no place in Iran’s foreign policy agenda, the president said the Zionist regime can by no means deprive Iran of the right to nuclear technologies, which have become indigenous in Iran.
In comments in December 2021, Raisi cautioned the enemies that any bellicose move will draw such a decisive response from the Iranian military forces that it will bring about a significant change in strategic equations.
In April this year, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said all Iranian military forces are ready to give a decisive and crushing response to any threat at any level in such a way that the enemies of Iran would regret taking hostile action against the Islamic establishment.
