Visiting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hussein Jaberi Ansari and Russian Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov are expected to discuss latest developments in the Middle East including Syria.
The two officials will confer Syria situation, fighting terrorism and the program of upcoming inter-Syrian negotiations in the Kazakhstan capital, Astana on January 23, IRNA news agency reported.
Iranian deputy foreign minister arrived in Moscow on Friday morning in a bid to continue talks for resolution of Syria crisis through political ways.
Tehran and Moscow have increased regional cooperation and the Iranian and Russian delegations are frequently visiting the two capitals for consultations.
