A quarter of a million Palestinians marked Al-Qadr night at Al-Aqsa Mosque overnight on Wednesday, Islamic Waqf in occupied Al-Quds announced.
Palestinian sources reported tightened Israeli measures at the entrances of Al-Quds in a bid to hinder the access of the Palestinians to the holy site.
Occupation authorities allowed the entrance of Palestinian men who are only above 60 years of age, and ordered special permits for men between 40 and 50 years of age, the sources added.
Photos circulated by social media showed mass gatherings of Palestinians performing prayers at the holy site.
