Secretary General of Islamic Jihad Palestinian Resistance movement received on Wednesday Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas’ politburo, in Beirut.
The two leaders discussed latest developments in Palestine amid the continuous Zionist escalation including judaization of Al-Quds, eviction of Palestinian people from Al-Quds and West Bank neighborhoods, the siege on Gaza strip and repressive measures against Palestinian prisoners, Palestinian media reported.
Nakhale and Al-Arouri, who was heading a Hamas delegation, stressed the Resistance’s full readiness to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian people in Al-Quds, highlighting the formula set by the Palestinian Resistance during Sword of Al-Quds Op. to confront the Israeli aggression in May 2021, according to Palestine Today.
The meeting attendees asserted importance of confronting the Zionist aggression against Palestinian people in Al-Quds, West Bank and Gaza.
They hailed the steadfastness of Palestinian people who have been defending their land and holy sites against Israeli attacks.
In this regard, the Palestinian leaders stressed importance of unity of Palestinian Resistance factions in order to step up operations and all forms of resistance against Israeli enemy.
On the other hand, Nakhale and Al-Arouri reiterated Palestinian Resistance’s stance regarding some Arab states’ moves to normalize ties with Zionist entity, calling on the Palestinian Authority to halt the so-called security coordination with occupation authorities in the West Bank.
