Yemen’ military launched a wide-scale operation targeting the Saudi depth in retaliation for the kingdom’s ongoing aggression on the Arab impoverished country.
Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman said the operation hit sensitive and vital targets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Taef, Jizan, Najran and Asir.
Several ballistic missiles were launched and 25 drones took part in the operation, Saree said Tuesday in a statement.
Six Sammad-3 drones as well as several Zoulfiqar rockets targeted Saudi Defense Ministry and King Khaled Airport in Riyadh, the spokesman said.
He added that six Sammad-2 and Sammad-3 drones targeted King Fahd airbase in Taef and Aramco facility in Jeddah.
Five Sammad-1 and Sammad-2 drones hit military posts in Saudi’s Asir, Abha and Jizan, according to Saree.
Elsewhere in Najran, Abha and Jizan, ballistic missiles and Qasef-K2 drones targeted military posts in the area.
Saree meanwhile, urged citizens avoid being close to military posts in targeted areas, stressing that “escalation will be met with escalation.”
He vowed that the revolutionary forces in Yemen will launch more attacks “as part of Yemeni people legitimate right to defend themselves.”
