Yemen’s Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the successful completion of a high-level security operation, code-named “And Their Plot Will Perish,” which led to the dismantling of a sophisticated espionage network operating under a joint operations room that included the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Israeli enemy’s Mossad, and Saudi intelligence. The network was reportedly directed from within Saudi territory.
Operation Exposes Foreign Espionage Network
In an official statement, the ministry said the achievement came after “multiple stages of investigation, surveillance, and intelligence follow-up,” which uncovered “hostile schemes, methods of infiltration, and foreign connections of traitorous elements.” Security forces reportedly obtained detailed intelligence confirming that the joint operations room coordinated sabotage and espionage activities against Yemen through small, compartmentalized cells linked directly to it.
According to the statement, the network received advanced espionage equipment and technical support from its foreign handlers. Members were trained by American, Zionist, and Saudi officers inside Saudi Arabia in “report writing, coordinates transmission, camouflage, and evasion tactics to avoid detection and arrest.”

Targets Included Strategic and Civilian Sites
The ministry added that the spy cells were tasked with monitoring Yemen’s infrastructure, identifying military and security installations, and locating arms production sites, missile launch platforms, and drone bases. They also gathered intelligence on key civilian, military, and security figures.
The network was further complicit in providing coordinates and information that facilitated attacks on civilians and public service facilities during military operations carried out by the US-Israeli-Saudi coalition against Yemen.
Part of Broader Escalation Against Yemen
The Interior Ministry described the creation of the joint intelligence cell and the recruitment of multiple espionage units as “a renewed escalation of aggression against Yemen,” aimed at undermining its military capabilities and its steadfast position in support of Gaza and the Palestinian people.
Raising Awareness and Ensuring Vigilance
The Yemeni ministry also disclosed certain operational details of the spy network to raise public awareness of “enemy movements and plots” and commended the vigilance and cooperation of Yemeni citizens in exposing these hostile schemes.
It reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a high level of readiness and continuing national efforts to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and stability, urging all Yemenis to remain alert to ongoing threats targeting Yemen’s security and its principled stance in defense of Palestine and Gaza.
The ministry paid tribute to Yemen’s martyrs and extended wishes for the recovery of the wounded, vowing to continue the struggle “until victory is achieved for Yemen and for all free nations.”
