Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi met and held talks with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad on the bilateral issues and the latest developments in the region.
Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad who has arrived in Tehran on Sunday night met with Iranian President Raisi.
Earlier in the day, he also held talks with his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir-Abdollahian.
This is Mikdad’s first visit to Tehran after the new Iranian government took office in early August while Hussein Amir-Abdollahian has visited Damascus twice after taking office.
