The Lebanese prime minister, Najib Mikati, announced on Thursday granting a set of social subsidies to the public employees as the national pound exchange rate against the US dollar reached a catastrophic low.
In this context, Mikati announced raising the daily transport allowances to 64,000 L.L. and paying an amount equal to half a monthly salary.
Mikati called on the public employees to secure a 20% attendance rate, confirming that the subsidies of the chronic diseases.
