The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Wednesday its daily report in which it announced 214 new coronavirus cases, 204 of them for locals and 10 for the arrivals, raising total to 540844.
The report added that 14679 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 520717.
According to the report, 5 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7740.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
