The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Tuesday its daily report in which it announced 242 new coronavirus cases, 220 of them for locals and 22 for the arrivals, raising total to 540630.
The report added that 16341 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 520473.
According to the report, 6 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7735.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
