The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Friday its daily report in which it announced 298 new coronavirus cases, 292 of them for locals and 6 for the arrivals, raising total to 539888.
The report added that 17483 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 516530.
According to the report, 6 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7711.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
