The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Wednesday its daily report in which it announced 489 new coronavirus cases, 480 of them for locals and 9 for the arrivals, raising total to 537043.
The report added that 17274 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 503747.
According to the report, 10 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7651.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
