Yemeni Air Force on Saturday morning employed Qasef K2 drone to strike a military site at Abha International Airport, hitting the target accurately.
The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, General Yahya Sarea, stressed that the strike came in response to the ongoing Saudi aggression and blockade.
General Sarea added that he would hold a press conference on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. to announce the empirical results of the Saudi aggression on Yemen and the Yemeni deterrence operations in response.
Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under aggression by the Saudi-led coalition in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is Riyadh’s ally.
Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been killed or injured by Saudi-led airstrikes.
The Arab country has been also under harsh blockade b the coalition which includes in addition to the Kingdom, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
