Head of Hezbollah delegation to Moscow, MP Mohammad Raad, told Al-Manar TV that the Russian invitation reflects Moscow’s appreciation of the Party’s role in defeating the Israeli hostility and takfiri terrorism.
MP Raad pointed out that Russia looks for Hezbollah role in maintaining stability in Lebanon and the entire Middle East.
Meanwhile, MP Raad clarified that Russia supports all the efforts aimed at creating the new Lebanese government without interfering in the process, adding that it is shameful for any Lebanese political to rely on any foreign intervention in the cabinet formation.
Head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday.
Raad, who is heading a Hezbollah delegation for a three-day visit to the Russian capital, sat with Lavrov in a meeting that lasted for 40 minutes, Al-Manar reporter said.
Hezbollah delegation, headed by Raad, arrived in the Russian capital late Sunday at the invitation of Russian officials. The delegation also includes Head of Hezbollah Foreign Relations Official Ammar Al-Moussawi and his aide Ahmad Mhanna.
