Hezbollah Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Qassem said that the Axis of Resistance owes a lot of its strength and victories to commander of Al-Quds Force martyr Qassem Suleimani who was martyred in a US strike on Iraq International Airport on January 3 2020.
In an article penned by Sheikh Qassem on Al-Ahed news website on the first martyrdom anniversary of martyr Suleimani, Sheikh Qassem said that through a quick and comprehensive reading of what the Axis of Resistance is, “we will find that it owes a lot of its strength that enables more victories to martyr Suleimani.”
According to excerpts of the article that will be published soon, Sheikh Qassem stressed that “If martyr Suleimani wasn’t the US’ biggest problem and its arrogant project, Trump would not have assassinated him in such a deliberate and clear manner.”
“If he hadn’t achieved many successes and victories for the axis of resistance he would not have gained such a special place in people’s heart,” Hezbollah deputy chief wrote.
Assuring that the results of the US elections do not concern Hezbollah, Sheikh Qassem noted that “we consider that fall of the tyrant Trump a lesson for the oppressors.”
“As for Biden let him know that we adhere to our land and independence and we will carry on as a resistance movement regardless of the sacrifices,” his eminence wrote, according to Al-Ahed.
Sheikh Qassem vowed, meanwhile, that the people and mujahedeen of this region will continue the path pf martyr Suleimani and will confront both the US and ‘Israel’ along with their proxies.
“Hezbollah will be strong and ready in terms of its Jihadi (fighting) position preparing all its balance of deterrence capabilities in defense against ‘Israel’ and the annexes of its occupation.”
“Those who stood firm and defeated ‘Israel’, faced sanctions and did not change their positions under the most difficult circumstances, will never squander their achievements and the blood of the martyrs,” Sheikh Qassem said.
