Qatar’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani met on Wednesday the Lebanese President Michel Aoun, congratulating him on his election.

The Qatari FM also forwarded a message from Prince Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani to President Aoun, inviting him to visit Doha.

The Qatari top diplomat further met with the House Speaker Nabih Berri congratulated him on carrying out the presidential elections.

Lebanese FM Gebran Bassil also received his Qatari counterpart, thanking him for his “noble initiative”.
