The Lebanese ministry of public health issued Friday its daily report in which it announced 279 new coronavirus cases, 261 of them for locals and 18 for arrivals, raising total to 5951.
The report added that 7730 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 2042.
According to the report, no new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which kept toll at 70.
