Hezbollah Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Qassem hailed Lebanon’s official stance on the latest Israeli aggression on Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), as well as the Lebanese army over firing at Israeli drones which crossed into southern Lebanon last Wednesday.
Stances announced by Lebanese president, premier and speaker regarding the Israeli aggression are “dignified and honorable,” Sheikh Qassem said, noting that stances which rejected the Israeli aggression and voiced solidarity with the resistance were on both official and popular levels.
“The popular situation is on a high level of solidarity (with resistance) from the country’s south to the north and passing by Beirut and Bekaa,” Sheikh Qassem said in a local ceremony on Thursday.
“In this time we have witnessed a powerful representation of the tripartite of people-army-resistance,” Hezbollah Deputy Chief said, noting that this “scene bothers the enemy.”
“Yesterday, Lebanese Army fired at Israeli drones in the south, we salute the national army which safeguards the country.”
