Lebanon President Michel Aoun left Beirut on Monday for an official visit to Moscow.
President Aoun, who is accompanied by Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, is traveling to Moscow upon an official invitation by Russia.
He is scheduled to meet his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as well as senior Russian officials. The Lebanese president will tackle during his visit several issues, on top of which are bilateral relations and Syrian refugees, Lebanese Presidency Office said on Monday.
