Lebanon’s General Security said that dozens of Syrian refugees are set to return to their homeland voluntarily on Monday.
The security apparatus announced on Sunday that the refuges will return to Syria from the Bekaa region as well as from Shebaa in the south.
The refugees will be returning to their towns in Syria through the Masnaa Border crossing, General Security said in the statement.
It will be the latest such return organized by Lebanese authorities in recent months.
For its part, Lebanon’s National News agency reported on Monday that 204 Syrian refugees gathered in the playground of Shebaa Public high school early on Monday.
The refugees were residing in the villages of Shebaa and Arqoub and will return to Syria aboard 10 Syrian buses, NNA added.
