Hezbollah denounced on Tuesday US’ full commitment to crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian people.
In a statement released by the party’s Media Relations Office, Hezbollah condemned the US veto on a UN Security Council resolution on Al-Quds’ (Jerusalem) status.
“This veto has proved another time the biased stance of the US administrations in favor of the Zionist entity,” the statement said stressing that Washington has been oppressing the Palestinians people and humiliating Arabs throughout years.
The United States on Monday vetoed a draft UN resolution rejecting US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Al-Quds as the Zionist entity’s capital, after all 14 other Security Council members backed the measure.
“The entire world has been subjected to an impudent blow by the US administration which arrogantly vetoed the resolution at the UNSC,” Hezbollah said in the statement.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance party said that the US move represents an unprecedented escalation against the Arab Ummah (nation).
“In the face of US hegemony which knows no bounds, Hezbollah calls on the Muslim and Arab nation, along with all free people across the world to escalate the popular uprising against the US decision on Al-Quds.”
Hezbollah also urged the “courageous Palestinian people to go on with their popular movements which frightened the Zionists and the US.”
