Iran’s Chief of Military Staff Major General Mohammad Baqeri said that his country will cancel all measures imposed on the border with Iraqi Kurdistan.

Baqeri added that had Kurdistan partition scheme been implemented, the whole country would have been involved a long attrition war.

According to the Iranian Major General, what the Democratic party and Barzani had done in Kurdistan could have caused a regional crisis; however, “their expectations did not come true.”
