Head of Hezbollah’s Foreign Relations Unit Sheikh Khalil Rizk blasted the US over supporting the Zionist entity, stressing that it is the “source of crime.”

“The US supplies the Israeli enemy with all weapons and equipment. It’s the first and last responsible for all the crimes and brutality that are taking place in this region,” Sheikh Rizk said during a memorial service of martyr Abbas Karaki in the southern town of Harouf.

The Hezbollah official slammed behavior of some Lebanese politicians and journalists over disregarding and even justifying the Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

He pointed to financial measures taken by Justice Minister, Central Bank Governor, regarding restricting the use of cash in the economy.

The measures “appear to be an implementation of clear American dictates,” Sheikh Rizk stated, according to a statement released by Hezbollah’s Media Relations on Tuesday.

He hailed the people of resistance’s sacrifices and resilience, addressing anti-resistance powers as saying: “Let us fight, but don’t stab us in the back.”

“There is a great obligation for all state institutions to do their duty to protect the people and go ahead with reconstruction.”

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.

In addition to the Israeli violations, the Lebanese State has been subjected to unprecedented pressure by the United States, the first sponsor of the Zionist entity, to disarm Hezbollah.
