Six Palestinians were martyred on Tuesday in an Israeli violation of the ceasefire deal reached with Hamas earlier last week.
Five Palestinians were martyred by Israeli occupation forces in the Shujayea neighborhood of Gaza City, Palestinian sources reported.
The Israeli occupation army confirmed killing the individuals, claiming they were approaching its soldiers when targeted.
Elsewhere in the Halawa area of Jabalia in northern Gaza Strip, an unspecified number of Palestinians were wounded by Israeli army fire.
Earlier on Tuesday, Al-Manar correspondent in Gaza reported a Palestinian was martyred and another was injured by an Israeli drone attack in the town of Al-Fakhari in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza Strip.
The ceasefire between Hamas and the Israeli occupation regime took effect on Friday (October 10). In the first phase of the deal, as stipulated by a plan presented by US President Donald Trump, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) withdrew to what was called the “Yellow Line.” The IOF are still occupying some regions across the besieged enclave.
For his part, Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qassem said the killing of a number of Gazans by the occupation army this morning is a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Qassem called on mediators of the deal to monitor the Israeli behavior and to press the Zionist entity in order to adhere to the agreement.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem in a press statement:
⭕ “The Israeli army’s killing of several residents of Gaza this morning through airstrikes and gunfire constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

Meanwhile, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory Francesca Albanese condemned the Israeli attacks despite the ceasefire.
“Again: Ceasefire according to Israel = ‘you cease, I fire.’ Calling it ‘peace’ is both an insult and a distraction,” Albanese wrote on X, calling for “justice, sanctions, divestment, [and] boycott until occupation, apartheid and genocide are over and every crime is accounted for”.

All eyes on Palestine: Israel must face justice, sanctions, divestment, boycott UNTIL occupation, apartheid and genocide are over and every crime is accounted for. https://t.co/K73I2177Ms— Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt (@FranceskAlbs) October 14, 2025
