On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 21 | Sunday, October 13, 2024
In response to the Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 38 military operations on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Most of these operations targeted settlements, sites, military barracks, and gatherings belonging to Israeli enemy forces at the Lebanese-Palestinian border, using rockets and artillery shells.
On the ground, in response to the call of “Labbaik Ya Nasrallah,” the fighters of the Islamic Resistance heroically engaged in intense battles, some reminiscent of Karbala, directly clashing with Israeli soldiers only hundreds of meters from the Lebanese-Palestinian border. Israeli forces attempted to infiltrate the towns of Ramyah, Blida, Al-Qouzah, and Mays al-Jabal, but were repelled by the Resistance fighters using explosive devices, engaging in close-range combat with rifles and medium weapons. This led to several Israeli casualties and the enemy’s retreat from the area. The Resistance also destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank and an armored vehicle using guided missiles.
In the western neighborhood of the town of Aita al-Shab, the Resistance fighters did not wait for the infiltrating enemy forces to arrive; instead, they courageously attacked them. Violent clashes ensued, and the Israeli forces suffered several killed and wounded soldiers.
As part of the “Khaibar” operations and in retaliation for the targeting of civilians, the Resistance’s missile force launched quality missile salvos targeting the “Tireh al-Karmel” base and the “Repair and Maintenance Base (7200)” south of the occupied city of Haifa.
In response to the Israeli aggression on the neighborhoods of Al-Nuwairi and Al-Basta in Beirut, the Resistance’s Air Force carried out a significant aerial attack using a swarm of loitering drones, targeting a training camp for the Israeli “Golani Brigade” in “Binyamina,” south of occupied Haifa. The drones hit the camp’s restaurant while Israeli soldiers were gathered inside, causing dozens of casualties.
The Resistance’s military media also distributed an unpublished message from the revered martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah sanctify his soul), addressed to the fighters of the Islamic Resistance. In it, he prayed for blessings on their efforts, work, vigilance, and sacrifices.

The Islamic Resistance concluded its statements on this action-packed day by reaffirming its commitment to remain present and ready to defend its country and its oppressed people, and that it would not hesitate to fulfill its duty in deterring the enemy.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported the killing of four Israeli soldiers and the injury of seventy others as a result of a Hezbollah drone explosion at a military base south of occupied Haifa, which had not been detected beforehand. Additionally, twenty-two soldiers were evacuated from the border areas to hospitals, having been injured during clashes with Hezbollah, including four in critical condition.
On this day, sirens were heard forty-two times across various areas of northern occupied Palestine, particularly in the Upper Galilee settlements, the occupied Golan Heights, and along the coastline from Ras al-Naqoura in the north to “Atlit” in the south.
