Hezbollah condemned the aggression launched by the Israeli enemy early this morning on Msayleh – Najariya road in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several citizens, in addition to significant losses in property and livelihoods.
This attack is part of the repeated and deliberate targeting of innocent civilians and economic infrastructure, aimed at preventing the people from returning to their normal lives, Hezbollah said in a statement.
“This persistent Israeli aggression against Lebanon, its people, and its sovereignty is an expression of the ongoing arrogance and criminality of Zionism, taking place under the watch of the countries guaranteeing the ceasefire agreement and its supervising committee. This is happening amidst Arab and international silence, and with full American cover that emboldens the enemy to continue its aggression against Lebanon and the region.”
“This situation requires all Lebanese to stand in national solidarity, and for the state to take a firm position that rises to the level of the existing challenges and threats,” the statement added, “It also calls for intensive diplomatic and political action, raising the voice loudly in all Arab and international forums, and submitting an urgent complaint to the United Nations Security Council to pressure the Israeli enemy to stop its attacks and violations.”
Hezbollah affirmed that this Israeli aggression cannot continue and must be confronted, stressing that the Lebanese state must assume its national responsibilities toward its people and play its role as the protector and caretaker of the citizens.
“We extend our salute and admiration to our steadfast honorable people who face the aggression with determination, making great sacrifices to reaffirm their right to their land and to live with dignity in their homeland,” the statement concluded.
Israeli warplanes launched ten airstrikes on six excavation and bulldozer depots along Msayleh road in southern Lebanon, destroying vehicles and cutting off the road. One person was killed and another injured in the attack.
