On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 19 | Friday, October 11, 2024
In response to Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 24 military operations on Friday, October 11, 2024. These operations mostly targeted settlements, military sites, barracks, and gatherings belonging to Israeli occupation forces along the Lebanese–Palestinian border, using rockets and artillery shells.
On the ground, resistance fighters targeted gatherings and movements of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the towns of Blida, Kfarkela, and Yaroun, using appropriate weapons.
The resistance’s rocket force launched large barrages targeting a number of military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, including:
- The “Zovulun” area north of the occupied city of Haifa.
- The command headquarters of the 7th Armored Brigade in the “Katsavya” barracks in the occupied Golan.
- A gathering of Israeli soldiers west of the “Rawiya” barracks in the occupied Golan.
- The occupied city of Safed.
In retaliation for the brutal Israeli assaults on towns, villages, and civilians, the Islamic Resistance’s air force launched a drone strike using a squadron of kamikaze drones targeting the air defense command base in “Kiryat Eliezer” in occupied Haifa, and also on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance Operations Room emphasized that all military operations are conducted with full and real-time coordination between the resistance leadership and the operations room, extending all the way to the frontline fighters. The resistance also warned settlers in northern occupied Palestine to avoid being near houses occupied by Israeli soldiers or near military bases in the occupied cities, as these will be targeted by both the rocket and air forces of the resistance.
During a press conference in the heart of Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), Hezbollah’s Head of Media Relations, the martyred commander Haj Mohammad Afif, stated that the Israeli enemy remains incapable, despite bringing in more troops and brigades—including elite forces—of advancing on the ground except in very limited situations. Israeli tanks are still stationed at the rear and do not dare move forward.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the Galilee and Haifa Bay areas witnessed field escalations in the form of extensive rocket fire from Lebanon. Channel 12 confirmed that a site in “Ramim” was targeted with an anti-tank missile, followed by shelling that led to the killing of two soldiers in “Yaroun.” The Israeli army spokesperson announced that 100 rockets were launched from Lebanon within minutes, with some falling in “Kfar Sold,” causing four injuries.
Channel 12 correspondent revealed that the Israeli army spokesperson accompanied journalists to the border and took them a few meters into southern Lebanon for propaganda purposes, excluding some reporters from the tour to avoid embarrassing questions.
On that day, sirens were sounded 27 times across various areas in northern occupied Palestine, primarily in settlements of the Galilee Panhandle, the occupied Syrian Golan, and along the coastal line from Rosh Hanikra in the north down to the area of Herzliya in the south.
