Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance MP Hasan Fadlalalh stressed on Friday that the resistance fulfilled its duty in liberating and defending the country.
In an interview with Al-Manar, MP Fadlallah said: “After the war, the state announced that it bears responsibility, and if it is unable to protect, it must say so clearly.”
He called on the Lebanese State to suspend participation in the committee supervising the ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist entity.
The Hezbollah lawmaker wondered about the Lebanese Government’s stance from the latest Israeli attacks.

“There is an authority in the country that doesn’t meet the demands of protection,” he stated, noting that the Taif Accord stipulated “the unification and preparation of the armed forces to be able to confront the Israeli aggression.”
In this context, MP Fadlalalh affirmed that the resistance “does not fall under the category of arms exclusivity, but rather is a defensive and liberating element.”
“The strongest element in the balance of power is the people, and the greatest force of resistance is the man power.”
He explained that Hezbollah supports the success of the new authorities, but stressed that “there are four clear demands: an end to the Israeli aggression, withdrawal, the handover of prisoners, and reconstruction.”
“The government is responsible for reconstruction, and the state has the financial resources necessary for this.”
He pointed out that “external dictates are being exerted on the government to obstruct the reconstruction process,” emphasizing that “Hezbollah wants to serve its people and will not submit to these pressures.”
Meanwhile, the Hezbollah lawmaker stressed that “the relationship with the army is more than excellent, and the army constitutes a guarantee of civil peace and the prevention of strife in Lebanon.”
Emphasizing Hezbollah’s commitment to civil peace, he said: “If anyone tries to drag us into a confrontation, our people are valiant, and we are the ones who calm the people.”
Commenting on the event at Raouche Rock which was illuminated with images of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine on their martyrdom anniversary, Fadlallah said PM Nawaf Salam is not aware of the internal balance of power.
“They won’t win a confrontation against us. They cannot change the internal equation, because we represent half the country.”
