The Israeli enemy staged a new attack on Lebanon on Thursday, killing two citizens as a drone struck a vehicle in the country’s south, in a fresh violation to the ceasefire that ended the brutal 66-day Israeli war in late 2024.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported a drone strike targeting a car on the road linking the areas of Al-Jarmak and Al-Khardali.
Two citizens were martyred and another was injured in the strike, Lebanese Health Ministry announced later.

Local media identified the two martyrs as Ahmad Saad and Mustafa Rizk from the southern town of Kfar Rumman.
Saad is a surveyor engineer and he was along with Rizk working on a survey assessing the damage resulted from the last Israeli war on the country, local media reported.

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.
In addition to the Israeli violations, the Lebanese State has been subjected to unprecedented pressure by the United States, the first sponsor of the Zionist entity, to disarm Hezbollah.
