On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.

In the name of the Lord of the Martyrs – Battle of the Formidable in Might
The Islamic Resistance fought a continuous war of attrition for an entire year against the “Israeli” enemy, in support of and backing for the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.
3,000 military operations against enemy positions and gatherings in northern occupied Palestine.
It inflicted devastating losses in lives and equipment, forcing hundreds of thousands of settlers to flee from the northern settlements until they became almost deserted.
The support front formed more than just backing for the Palestinian resistance; it was a true partner on the battlefield. It disrupted the enemy’s system and prevented it from singling out our people in Gaza.
Unable to extinguish the fire of the support front, the enemy chose to shift the confrontation to Lebanon, implementing a decision long prepared for war, waiting only for the right moment.
In late September 2024, the enemy waged its war on Lebanon through a series of systematic attacks, starting with a horrific massacre carried out by detonating pager devices and wireless communication equipment used by the resistance, alongside many civilians.
The massacre led to the martyrdom of a constellation of noble martyrs, and the injury of hundreds with varying degrees of severity.
The martyred leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God bless him) described this crime as something unprecedented in its criminality and brutality.
In the face of this “Israeli” crime, the Islamic Resistance, through its martyred leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God bless him), affirmed that this aggression was not just a passing assault, but rather a declaration of war on Lebanon and its people, an attempt at collective extermination within a single minute.
His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah asked, “How can we describe this criminal act? War crimes or a declaration of war?”
But the enemy did not stop at this treacherous attack. It continued its aggression with a series of cowardly assassinations in the heart of Beirut’s southern suburb and in the south, targeting a number of leaders of the Islamic Resistance.
At the forefront was the great jihadi commander Hajj Ibrahim Mohammad Aqil, Al-Hajj Abdul Qader, along with a group of Radwan Force commanders: commander Ibrahim Koubeissi Al-Hajj Abu Mousa, together with three of the resistance’s missile force commanders, as well as the commander of the aerial force, commander Mohammad Hussein Srour – Al-Hajj Abu Saleh.
Following that, on September 23, 2024, the Islamic Resistance announced the start of a new phase in confronting the “Israeli” war on Lebanon, under the title: In Defense of Lebanon and Its People.
Within this framework, on Monday, September 23, 2024, the resistance carried out seven military operations targeting enemy barracks and bases belonging to “Israeli” forces in northern occupied Palestine, with major rocket strikes. The most prominent were:
The military-industrial complexes of Rafael Company in the “Zvulun” area, north of occupied Haifa.
“Ramat David” airbase.
The headquarters of the Northern Corps command at the “Ein Zeitim” base, north of occupied Safad.
“Nimra” base, west of Lake Tiberias.
The followng video shows Hezbollah missile fire on Afula, occupied Palestine.
“Israeli” media reported the sounding of air-raid sirens for the first time in occupied Haifa, as well as injuries in “Kiryat Bialik”, north of the city, following the fall of rockets.
The spokesman for the “Israeli” army said that 265 rockets were launched from Lebanon, some of which landed in the Upper Galilee, Lower Galilee, and the occupied Syrian Golan. Hebrew sources stated that Hezbollah expanded the range of its shelling to 120 kilometers.
On this day, 27 air-raid sirens were activated across different areas of occupied Palestine, concentrated in settlements of Upper and Lower Galilee, the occupied Golan, and along the coastal line from Ras Al-Naqoura northward to Mount Carmel in the south.
