Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Hussein Al-Hajj Hasan called for an Islamic and Arab stance against the US arrogance.
In remarks during a local ceremony in the Bekaa town of Nabi Othman, the Hezbollah MP lashed out at the Zionist enemy over its arrogance and indifference with international laws as he tackled the Israeli strike on the Qatari capital, Doha.
“We condemn the aggression against Qatar and call on the Arab and Islamic countries that will convene in the summit in Doha to take a historic and exceptional stance against the US arrogance even before the Israeli arrogance.”

On the Lebanese affairs, MP Hajj Hasan underlined importance of a national stance against the US pressure on the Lebanese government and the Israeli violations, stressing that the Lebanese State has duties regarding the Lebanese sovereignty.
“We tell our partners in the homeland: Yes, it’s right that Lebanon needs a national defense or national security strategy. However, has the state fulfilled its sovereign duties? Has Israel withdrawn from our land? Has the aggression against our people and our land ceased? Have we released our prisoners? Has reconstruction begun? Why the rush to give the enemy and its sponsor, the US, Lebanon’s strength cards without any compensation, while the enemy is expanding daily?”
“We are firm in our position. We are steadfast in the face of all pressure. We won’t relinquish our arms, arms of honor and dignity, to anyone. All Lebanese, including us, presidency, government, parliament and all officials are asked to: liberate the land, stop the aggression, recover the prisoners, begin reconstruction, discuss and approve a national security or civil defense strategy, and then we will see what we will do, not the opposite. Otherwise, if we do what the US and ‘Israel’ want, and then see what they offer us, it will be a wrong approach in every sense of the word,” the Hezbollah MP stated.
He stressed the resistance’s unwavering position to defend the homeland, voicing readiness to cooperate with all powers in the country.
“We sincerely extend our hands to all the Lebanese, hoping that they will do so sincerely so that we can build a proud, sovereign, free and independent homeland, not a country that is violated by the Israeli enemy warplanes and the US policies.”
