Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem is to deliver a speech later on Monday in which his eminence will tackle latest developments.
Sheikh Qassem’s address will be during a memorial service in tribute of top Lebanese cleric who passed away last week, Sayyed Abbas Ali Al-Moussawi.
The ceremony is to kick off at 16:00 (Beirut time) at the HQ of the Lebanese Association of Arts, Rissalat, in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh.

Tensions have been high in Lebanon in recent weeks, after the Lebanese Government approved earlier this month “objectives” of a US plan to disarm Hezbollah, yielding to US and Israeli pressures.
The cabinet session on August 7 followed another session on August 5, in which the Lebanese Government tasked the Lebanese Army with drafting a plan to confine all weapons to the State by the end of the year.
The Lebanese State has been subjected to unprecedented pressure by the United States, the first sponsor of the Zionist entity, to tackle the issue of disarming Hezbollah.
In his latest speech on the occasion of Arbaeen, Sheikh Qassem affirmed that the Resistance will never relinquish arms as long as the Israeli occupation and aggression is continuous.
