Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday a new missile strike targeting Israeli airport of Ben Gurion in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the revolutionary forces fired a hypersonic ballistic missile of type “Palestine 2″ at Lod airport, referring to Ben Gurion Israeli airport.
He said the operation successfully achieved its goal, by the grace of Allah, forcing millions of the Zionist settlers to rush into shelters and leading to the suspension of the airport’s operations.
The spokesperson said the missile strike was in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their honorable fighters, and in response to the genocidal Israeli crimes and starvation committed by the Israeli enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip.”

Brig. Gen. Saree vowed that the revolutionary forces “will continue to fulfill our religious, moral, and humanitarian duty towards the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted.”
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli media reported that a Yemeni fired from missile triggered air raid sirens in Tel Aviv, occupied Al-Quds and other cities, sending Israeli settlers into shelters and safe rooms in the afternoon.
The occupation military confirmed the missile strike, claiming it was intercepted.
“Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF (Israel Air Force),” the occupation military said in a statement.
The missile strike followed Israeli attack on a Yemeni power plant south of the capital Sanaa.
