A delegation representing Hezbollah visited on Monday former president Michel Aoun, where they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and latest developments.
The delegation included MPs Ali Fayyad and Raed Berro, along with Member of Hezbollah politburo Mohammad Al-Khansa.
Following the meeting, MP Fayyad said Lebanon has fulfilled its obligations regarding the ceasefire agreement with the Zionist entity, lashing out at the Israeli enemy, whom he said “acts as if it’s not concerned.”

“The first step must be the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory, a halt to hostile actions, and the release of detainees. These are non-negotiable prerequisites before any further discussions can take place,” MP Fayyad told reporters as he talked on behalf of the delegation.
“We explained Hezbollah’s point of view and provided a general assessment of the developments in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression.”
“We also reviewed General Aoun’s viewpoint on various issues,” the Hezbollah MP continued, “and affirmed our openness to addressing the situation through Resolution 1701 and our commitment to the ceasefire.”
