Israeli occupation forces and settlers continue their attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Israeli occupation forces stormed several towns in the northern West Bank, including Raba, Zababdeh, Tubas, and Tammun, and carried out military raids accompanied by a widespread deployment of military vehicles.
Yesterday evening, settlers set fire to a vehicle belonging to foreign activists in the town of Susya, south of Hebron, during a solidarity visit. The fire spread to the vicinity of a Palestinian home. They also attacked homes with stones and Molotov cocktails.

In Tulkarm refugee camp, an 18-year-old Palestinian woman was shot by an Israeli sniper while surveying her home. Fortunately, she was taken to a government hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem governorate has issued an alarming warning about a planned large-scale assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque, scheduled for next Sunday, coinciding with the controversial anniversary of the “Destruction of the Temple.” Officials accuse extremist “Temple” groups of attempting to undermine the mosque’s legal and historical status, characterizing their actions as a blatant push for Israeli sovereignty in violation of international laws and United Nations resolutions.
Last night, Israeli settler militias attacked the Palestinian community of Arab Al-Mleihat, near Jericho in the occupied West Bank, setting residential tents on fire. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

The governorate’s statement emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader, systematic colonial project aimed at asserting control over Al-Aqsa. Historical violations during past incursions include the reading of “lamentation” scrolls and exhibitions of the occupation flag within the mosque’s precincts. Noteworthy participation from Knesset members and Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir in these actions highlights government complicity in these provocations.
With the mounting atmosphere of incitement, the call for the largest raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque has raised alarms among Palestinian leaders. The governorate underscored that this year’s anniversary, set for August 3rd, is particularly ominous, as “Temple” groups plan what they are labeling the “Day of the Greatest Storming.”
This escalation follows a troubling directive from Ben-Gvir permitting settlers to engage in singing and dancing within the pilgrimage site, marking a dangerous shift in relation to the mosque’s regulated status. The governorate warned that this collaboration between extremist groups and Israeli governmental bodies poses a serious threat to the holy site and risks significant unrest in the city.
Moreover, the current situation is further compounded by organized efforts from extremist factions, including a recently held incitement conference entitled “Nostalgia for the Temple and the Temple Mount,” which saw participation from hundreds of far-right religious activists and was sponsored by the Israeli municipality.
In its statement, the Governorate called on the international community and the Arab and Islamic nations to assume their political and legal responsibilities in the face of this organized aggression and to take urgent steps to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and preserve the legal and historical status quo in occupied Jerusalem.
