Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei has replaced top military commanders martyred in the Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic on Friday.
In a decree, Imam Khamenei, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, assigned Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi to replace Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, who was martyred in an Israeli military strike in the early hours of Friday, Iranian media reported.

In the decree announcing the designation, the Leader paid tribute to Major General Baqeri for his glorious and dignified martyrdom at the hands of the evil Zionist regime and highlighted the new commander’s admirable services and valuable experiences.
In another decree, Imam Khamenei appointed Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour as the new commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Major General Pakpour is replacing Major General Hossein Salami, who was martyred in the Israeli aggression.
Moreover, following the martyrdom of Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Imam Khamenei awarded the rank of Major General Ali Shadmani to a to brigadier general and appointed him as the new commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
